Sarah Griffin Thibodeaux is a contemporary realist artist living in New Orleans. She paints the figure, still life, landscape, and portrait, using the alla prima technique.

Thibodeaux studied at the New Orleans Academy of Fine Arts with Auseklis Ozols and Dell Weller, the Art Students League in New York with Ronald Sherr and the Florence Academy of Art with Daniela Astone.

She paints portrait commissions, teaches still life and portrait oil painting at her atelier and workshop center, Studio Thibodeaux. She lives in New Orleans with her husband and twin boys.

Thibodeaux paints weddings, events, portraits, her own figurative works in oils and watercolors.
